How it all started...
Almost 100 years ago, a small group of believers gathered in a little garage on South Shelby St in Indianapolis which became the genesis of First Bible Apostolics. Under their leadership of James Petty, the fires of revival were kindled around an old coal stove in a garage on Shelby St. There few who were dedicated to truth pledged their allegiance to make this humble place a center of worship and outreach to their city. This was the beginning of the journey we are still on today.
During the past decades. FBA has had only three pastors, James & Bertha Petty, JH & Judy Osborne and our current pastor Ben & Kelly Smith. We are committed to our heritage of Vision and Outreach to the community around us.
